First of all, you didn't finance with Wilshire Credit. your loan was transfered to them after origination. They are a servicer not a bank.
You didn't have a choice. There is no process for processing modifications. The fax is a black hole, if you are lucky your paperwork may be logged in after a month, then it is sent to an "officer" that "officer" may have a chance to review it after maybe a month. The reps standard statement is "it's in review" It's not in review, and they likely don't have it anyway.
It's not that Wilshire wants to take the house, it's that nobody knows what they are doing.Of course that's not the fault of the borrower, it's the company's inability to keep up with the influx of paperwork.
It's all a lawsuit waiting to happen.
